Taxonomy
Leviella riedeli was named by Forel (2022). Its type specimen is MHNG-GEPI-2021-7170, a valve, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is OST6, Lime Peak, which is in a Sevatian perireef or subreef limestone in the Aksala Formation of Canada.
