Taxonomy
Tritodynamia miocaenica was named by Müller (2006). Its type specimen is HNHM 2005.101.1, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Between Rákos railway cut and EGIS Pharmaceutical Factory, which is in a Badenian coastal sandstone in Hungary.
