Colymbus subparvus
Taxonomy
Colymbus subparvus was named by Miller and Bowman (1958). Its type specimen is LACM 2569, a limb element (right femur), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Five Points Freeway, which is in a Piacenzian/Gelasian coastal sandstone in the San Diego Formation of California.
