Taxonomy
Wuhushania cylindrica was named by Zhang and Yuan (1981). It is not extant. Its type locality is Wuhushan, Wuda, which is in a Taijangian carbonate limestone in the Hsuchuang Formation of China. It is the type species of Wuhushania.
