Acadiocaris is a genus. It is not extant. Its type is Palaeocaris novascoticus. It is the type genus of Acadiocarididae.
It was assigned to Anthracocarididae by Brooks et al. (1969); to Acadiocarididae by Schram (1974); and to Tanaidacea by Sepkoski (2002).
