Agnostus bituberculatus was named by Angelin (1851). It is not extant.

It was recombined as Toragnostus bituberculatus by Robison (1988); it was recombined as Phoidagnostus bituberculatus by Yang et al. (1991); it was recombined as Glaberagnostus bituberculatus by Peng and Robison (2000).
