Araxathyris bruntoni
Taxonomy
Araxathyris bruntoni was named by Angiolini and Carabelli (2010). Its type specimen is MPUM 10018, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bear Gully section IR862, Alborz mountains, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate marl in the Nesen Formation of Iran.
