Colobodectes cluveri
Taxonomy
Colobodectes cluveri was named by Modesto et al. (2003). Its type specimen is NMQR 3329, a partial skull (skull lacking zygoma, circumtemporal and jaw suspension elements, and the lower jaws), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Farm Vleikraal (upper), which is in a Lopingian delta plain sandstone/mudstone in the Abrahamskraal Formation of South Africa.
