Taxonomy
Eucyrtidium elementarius was named by Carter et al. (1988). It is not extant. Its type locality is GSC loc. C-080595, Graham Island, which is in a Bajocian offshore shale in the Graham Island Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Praeparvicingula elementaria by Gorican et al. (2006).
