Taxonomy
Eoleperditia was named by Swartz (1949) [Sepkoski's age data: O Llvi-l S Wenl-l Sepkoski's reference number: 85]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Leperditiinae by Swartz (1949); to Leperditiidae by Benson et al. (1961) and Berdan (1984); and to Leperditicopida by Sepkoski (2002).
