Phoenicopterus minutus

Taxonomy
Phoenicopterus minutus was named by Howard (1955). Its type specimen is LACM 2445, a set of limb elements (nearly complete right tibiotarsus and proximal tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is W19, Manix Lake (LACM 1093), which is in a Pleistocene lacustrine siliciclastic in California.
