Taxonomy
Pseudoyuepingia brevica was named by Lu and Lin (1980). It is not extant. Its type locality is Xiyangshan, bed 12, which is in a Taoyuanian/Niuchehean slope limestone/shale in the Siyangshan Formation of China.
