Taxonomy
Bollia was named by Jones and Holl (1886) [Sepkoski's age data: O Ashg-m D Give-l Sepkoski's reference number: 136,855]. It is not extant. Its type is Bollia uniflexa.

It was assigned to Bolliinae by Henningsmoen (1953); to Bolliidae by Benson et al. (1961) and Tilman (1984); and to Palaeocopida by Sepkoski (2002).
