It was assigned to Beyrichiidae by Hoare and Mapes (2000); to Palaeocopida by Sepkoski (2002); to Beyrichiopsidae by Benson et al. (1961), Crasquin-Soleau (2003); to Beyrichopsidae by Chitnarin et al. (2008); and to Knoxitidae by Chitnarin (2012), Zazzali et al. (2015).
