Taxonomy
Neoagnostus tumidus was named by Sun (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is Kaolishan, Tai'an, which is in a Taoyuanian marine horizon in the Kaolishan Formation of China.
It was recombined as Pseudorhaptagnostus tumidus by Choi et al. (2004).
