Canutus tipperi
Taxonomy
Canutus tipperi was named by Pessagno and Whalen (1982). Its type specimen is USNM 307228 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Queen Charlotte Islands, B.C., Maude Formation (Locality 532), which is in a Pliensbachian marine lime mudstone in the Maude Formation of Canada.
