Taxonomy
Qinlingia transversa was named by Yang et al. (1993). It is not extant. Its type locality is Caigou, which is in a Wangcunian slope limestone/shale in the Xijiadian Formation of China.
It was recombined as Qinlingialingia transversa by Jell and Adrain (2002).
