Acmarhachis whittingtoni
Taxonomy
Acmarhachis whittingtoni was named by Westrop and Eoff (2012) [Reassigned from Acmarhachis acuta from Rasetti 1961, p. 109, pl. 23, figs. 2, 3, 7 [ONLY]]. Its type specimen is GSC 143603, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cow Head CH 57, which is in a Steptoean shallow subtidal conglomerate in the Shallow Bay Formation of Canada.
