Taxonomy
Hypagnostus anhuiensis was named by Lu and Zhu (1980). It is not extant. Its type locality is Chuxian-Quanjiao, Yangliugang Formation, which is in a Taijangian/Guzhangian carbonate limestone/shale in the Yangliugang Formation of China.
