Taxonomy
Pagodia major was named by Lu and Zhu (1980). It is not extant. Its type locality is Chuxian-Quanjiao, Cheshuitong Formation, which is in a Taoyuanian/Niuchehean carbonate limestone in the Cheshuitong Formation of China.
