Pleuronassa timerchidouensis
Taxonomy
Pleuronassa timerchidouensis was named by Ossó-Morales et al. (2011). Its type specimen is MGSB 77720, a claw, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NE flank of Chebka Timerchidou, which is in a Campanian carbonate marl in the Calcaires à slumps de Taghit Formation of Morocco. It is the type species of Pleuronassa.
