Ptychogaster pomeli
Taxonomy
Ptychogaster pomeli was named by Lydekker (1889). Its type specimen is BMNH 30936, a partial shell (conjoined epiplastrals, imperfect posteriorly), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is St-Gérand-le-Puy, which is in an Aquitanian fluvial-lacustrine mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in France.
