Yangchuanosaurus zigongensis
Taxonomy
Szechuanosaurus zigongensis was named by Gao (1993). Its type specimen is ZDM 9011, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dashanpu Dinosaur Quarry [lower], which is in a Bajocian/Oxfordian lacustrine sandstone/mudstone in the Shaximiao Formation of China.
It was recombined as Yangchuanosaurus zigongensis by Carrano et al. (2012).
