Kirgizemys exaratus

Taxonomy
Kirgizemys exaratus was named by Nessov and Khozatskiy (1973). Its type specimen is ZIN RNT-491, a partial shell (nuchal plate), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kylodzhun I, which is in an Albian/Albian fluvial-lacustrine claystone in the Alamyshik Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
