Shurabia grandis
Taxonomy
Megasepididontus grandis was named by Huang and Nel (2008). Its type specimen is NIGP 148117, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
It was recombined as Shurabia grandis by Cui et al. (2012).
