Taxonomy
Terebratula rhaetica was named by Zugmayer (1882). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kaisersteffel, which is in a Rhaetian carbonate limestone in the Koessen Formation of Austria.
It was recombined as Zugmayeria rhaetica by Dagys (1974).
