Taxonomy
Paraschwagerina elongata was named by Skinner and Wilde (1965). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is C-1A, Bass Ranch (Stanford no. 775), which is in a Sakmarian carbonate limestone in the McCloud Formation of California.
