Taxonomy

Sulcella is a genus. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Metacopida by Sepkoski (2002); to Mennerellidae by Abushik and Evdokimova (2016); and to Cavellinidae by Crasquin-Soleau (1999), Crasquin (2008), Zazzali et al. (2015), Chitnarin (2017), Kolar-Jurkovšek et al. (2024).
