Anomalochelys angulata
Taxonomy
Anomalochelys angulata was named by Hirayama et al. (2001). Its type specimen is HMG 1056, a partial shell (Large part of carapace with partial plastron attached), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tosano-sawa River, Tomiuchi, which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial siltstone in Japan.
