Xiphotheca transitus
Taxonomy
Xiphotheca transitus was named by Tekin (1999). Its type specimen is Pl. 43, fig. 6 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 96-UKT-669/98-UKT-62, Yaylakuzdere measured section II, Alakircay Nappe, which is in a Lacian basinal (carbonate) shale in the Gokdere Formation of Turkey.
