Taxonomy
Munagnostus was named by Pokrovskaya and Ergaliev (2008) [n. gen. for nondescr. genus Munagnostus in Ivshin 1960 and Romanenko 1977]. It is not extant. Its type is Munagnostus asiaticus.

It was assigned to Phalacromidae by Ergaliev and Ergaliev (2008).
