Kirkbya permiana

Taxonomy
Dithyrocaris permiana was named by Jones (1850). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Byers Quarry, Marsden, Durham, which is in a Wuchiapingian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Ford Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Kirkbya.

It was recombined as Kirkbya permiana by Jones (1859) and Olempska and Blaszyk (1996).
