Taxonomy
Bairdia spindlica was named by Tanaka and Yuan (2012). Its type specimen is MPC-03645, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tani-gawa river, Tominoho, Mugi county, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in Japan.
