Taxonomy
Palhindeolithus octostyla was named by Dumitrica (1982). Its type specimen is Pl. 7, fig. 2. and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CR and CRH, Fabricii valley, Cristian village, which is in a Pelsonian marine horizon in Romania.
