Taxonomy
Loparella loparica was named by Rozova (1968). It is not extant. Its type locality is Kulyumbe River, unit 32, which is in a Tremadoc perireef or subreef limestone in the Uigur Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Loparella.
