Thabanchuia oomie
Taxonomy
Thabanchuia oomie was named by Warren (1998). Its type specimen is UCMP 42780, a partial skeleton (Almost complete skull, attached mandibular rami and pectoral girdle with several centra, branchial arches and a median branchial element), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP V4744, Thaba N'chu, which is in an Induan terrestrial horizon in South Africa.
