Pulmonoscorpius kirktonensis
Taxonomy
Pulmonoscorpius kirktonensis was named by Jeram (1994). Its type specimen is NMS G 1992.38.1, an exoskeleton (a near complete juvenile scorpion), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East Kirkton (Units 38-69 East Kirkton Limestone-carbonate laminate facies), which is in a Brigantian terrestrial limestone in the East Kirkton Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Pulmonoscorpius.
