Phoxiscorpio peachi
Taxonomy
Phoxiscorpio peachi was named by Kjellesvig-Waering (1986). Its type specimen is GSE 2140, an exoskeleton (a small, poorly-preserved scorpion), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dalmeny railway cutting, which is in an Arundian/Holkerian marine shale in the Cementstone-Sandstone Series Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Phoxiscorpio.
