Petaloscorpio bureaui
Taxonomy
Petaloscorpio bureaui was named by Kjellesvig-Waering (1986). Its type specimen is UL 1092, an exoskeleton (poorly preserved scorpion), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bernard's Lot, Miguasha, which is in a Frasnian estuary/bay siliciclastic in the Escuminac Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Petaloscorpio.
