Acropyge weggeni
Taxonomy
Acropyge weggeni was named by Hahn and Hahn (1981). Its type specimen is SMF 28225, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nur Valley, about 4 km NNE of Yush, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine limestone in the Nesen Formation of Iran.
