Persia praecox
Taxonomy
Persia praecox was named by Lerosey-Aubril (2012). Its type specimen is EUIT 7-850, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Howz-e Dorah section, south Shotori range, which is in a Tournaisian carbonate limestone in the Shishtu Formation of Iran. It is the type species of Persia.
