Amyda exquisita
Taxonomy
Amyda exquisita was named by Hay (1908). Its type specimen is AMNH 5923, a partial skeleton (the carapace (fragmentary but representing well the structure), the hyoplastra and hypoplastra of both sides somewhat damaged, one cervical vertebra, portions o), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grizzly Buttes, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.
