Heterolepidotus serrulatus
Taxonomy
Lepidotus serrulatus was named by Agassiz (1837). Its type specimen is BMNH P.3580, a partial skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Barrow-on-Soar, Enniskillen collection, which is in a Planorbis marine limestone in the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Heterolepidotus serrulatus by Woodward (1895).
