Iniopera richardsoni
Taxonomy
Iniopera richardsoni was named by Zangerl and Case (1973). Its type specimen is FMNH PF2356, a partial skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Logan Quarry, Level G, Reserve Township, which is in a Moscovian marine shale in the Staunton Formation of Indiana. It is the type species of Iniopera.
