Gasparinisuchus peirosauroides
Taxonomy
Gasparinisuchus peirosauroides was named by Martinelli et al. (2012). Its type specimen is MOZ 1750 PV, a partial skeleton (Partial skull, lower jaws & associated postcrania), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lomo de La Lata, 600m NE of Pozo 18 (YPF), which is in a Santonian terrestrial sandstone in the Bajo de la Carpa Formation of Argentina.
