Taxonomy
Schuleridea was named by Swartz and Swain (1946) [Sepkoski's age data: J Aale T Mi Sepkoski's reference number: 167]. It is the type genus of Schulerideinae.

It was assigned to Podocopida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Schulerideinae by Babinot and Colin (2011).
