Palaeothentes boliviensis
Taxonomy
Palaeothentes boliviensis was named by Patterson and Marshall (1978). Its type specimen is PU (Princeton University) 21977, a mandible (Fragment of a right mandibular ramus with P3-M1.), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Branisa locality V-2 (Salla Fauna), which is in a Deseadan terrestrial horizon in Bolivia.
