Heomys orientalis
Taxonomy
Heomys orientalis was named by Li (1977). Its type specimen is IVPP V4321, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yangxiaowu, Qianshan locality 71017, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Doumu Formation of China. It is the type species of Heomys.
