Taxonomy
Qilianoconcha curvifrons was named by Jin et al. (1979). Its type specimen is NIGP 42875 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jieheishen river mouth, sample 032, Tianjun County, which is in an Anisian marine horizon in the Junzihe Formation of China.
