Neomegalodon cornutus
Taxonomy
Neomegalodon cornutus was named by Yao et al. (2007). Its type specimen is QMB 352, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Qoima Co, Section B, which is in a Norian shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Jiapila Formation of China.
